It's a good news / bad news thing... Beacon Preservation has submitted the necessary grant proposal for Green Light Academy. Do to government cutbacks however, we will not know if we will get funding until late this season. Therefore, there will not be a Green Light Academy program for this summer. Repeat, NO GREENLIGHT PROGRAMS WILL BE SCHEDULED FOR 2013. If the funding is approved, Greenlight Academy will resume in 2014 and begin the application process next spring. In the meantime, check out our video from Green Light Academy 2012!
Sponsor a GLA Student !! Underwriting scholarships at Green Light Academy give high school students experience that can only help to inspire them in the future. Our students not only learn but get hands-on experience with environmental conservation and sustainable energy. While GLA activities have been suspended for 2013, we plan to go full steam ahead for 2014. Consider helping our kids today meet the challenges of tomorrow! [ donate today! ]
